Kabuki gets closer

Shochiku has been the host of Kabuki, Japanese stylized dance & drama, more than 100 years in addition to be a Japanese film distributor. Now they launched the official English website of Kabuki on Aug 13, 2010.

The website contains the basic guide of Kabuki, and monthly update information of the perfornace. You can purchase a ticket through website using credit card as well.

Japanese traditional Entertainment tends to be closed, in terms of English information. But this is one tiny step towards English speaker to get to know more about Japanese traditional culture on the Internet.
