Cosmo Shamisen #000 (working title)

THE BASICS OF SHAMISEN & ELECTRIC SHAMISEN

Live at 12pm on Sun March 27, 2011 (JST) at Cosmo Gakki in Yokkaichi, the monthly live cast about Japanese musics including traditional to contemporary. We introduced Japanese traditional instruments and Maestro Hiroshi's invention, Electric Shamisen.

Cosmo Gakki (コスモ楽器) is 158 year old music instruments store in Yokkaichi Mie Japan. In addition to Japanese traditional instruments, they sell variety of western instruments.

YokosoNews asked Hiroshi KItagawa (北川浩), the owner of Cosmo Gakki to introduce Shamisen and other Japanese traditional instruments.

Hiroshi-san is also Shamisen craftsman who can make and create Shamisen.

Although we planned to have professional shamisen musician with us, we had to postpond for a week due to the earthquake.

Maetro Hiroshi-san introduced shamisen, ate curry at the music store, introduced electric shamisen and other Japanese traditional instruments.

YokosoNews and Cosmo Gakki will broadcast monthly music program.
