In this week, the project leaders of Sinsai.info share their story. Sinsai.info is social website to collect the various information for the 311 disaster. Later, the live report from Fukushima includes the NPO group helping pets in Fukushima.

1. Sinsai.Info, social media changed the way we can help during the disaster

Sinsai.info is the 100% volunteer based information portal. It provides the usuful information about where they need help.

Sinsai.info aggregate all kinds of disaster related information from Twitter or email, and put it onto the map, so that the people can visually see what kind of the information is available at the certain region.

The information are checked and organized by volunteer moderators. The programmers are also the volunteers.

Hal Seki, the project leader of Sinsai.info, and Hiroshi Miura, sub leader joined us via Skype to share their experience how they started with sinsai,info and developed the site to help people.

2. Fukushima: rice planting & a NPO helping pets

Taka, professional videogapher & moderator of "i-Breeze IWAKI" bring you the live report from Iwaki Fukushima.

Last weekend, we went to help his family rice planting in Fukushima. Fukushima is large region. Some of the agriculture farm is considered to be safe.

Next, he went to a animal NPO which has been helping pets to find the new owners or taking care of them until the owners are ready to welcome back.

The north Japan still requires a lot of help though many people and organization are trying to give hands. There are still some hart warming stories that some factories fishing indutry has resume working.

The Fukushima Daiichi NPP incient update include that TEPCO confirmed that 2nd and 3rd reactor might have experienced meltdown based on their calculation.

Japanese politicians increase the criticism against Japan Cabinet members & Japan Nuclear Safety Commissioner.

Masataka Shimizu had stepped down the seat of CEO by losing 1.2trillion yen (14.7 billion US dollar).

There has been more leakage of radioactive contaminated water into the ocean and more concern about storage of those radioactive contaminated water from Fukushima Daiichi NPP.
