X-Japan wrapped North America tour

LIVE REPORT OF WILTERN THEATRE, LOS ANGELES

On Saturday, September 25th, 2010, X-Japan kicked off their North America tour from Wiltern Theatre in Los Angeles. And they just finished the New York concert on October 10, 2010.  This is the live report of the LA concert.

Wiltern is located at the very center of Los Angeles. Over 2,300 fans were on the line waiting for the gate to open.

The stage was filled with usual "X" shout-outs long before the curtain calls.

At 9:30pm, the stage turned of the light, Yoshiki shows up on the drum chair.

A blue spot light pointed straight at him. The excitement in the stadium was indescribable.

Yoshiki, then took off his long coat, and smashing the drum set. The new song "JADE" was showcased for the first time in from of LA fans.

Toshi yelled at the audience "How are you guys doing? Want to hear you scream! Ready to Rock?". (If you've ever been to one of their concerts, you know what happened next.) The stadium was full of screams.

After playing their signature pieces "Rusty Nail" and "Kurenai", they performed "Born To Be Free" with the dancers in the maid costume in the cage hanging on the stage. In the middle of the set, Yoshiki and Sugizo showed piano and violin solos.

The concert was full of entertainment: metal, dance and classics.

Towards the end of the concert, the smoke started coming out, and the song "X" begins.

The 2,300 simultaneous big jump brought earthquake into the stadium.

Toshi screamed "we are". The audience replied "X". X Japan is really good at bridging the border between fans.

The encore was "Endless Rain". It became the choir with the audiences.

Sometime, the band intermit the performances and look around the stadium. It seemed that the band also felt the accomplishment of being able to execute the North America tour.

After, 11 songs and long-waited fans, nobody was never disappointed. It was a quite success opening.

The X Japan just finished the last gig at Roseland Ballroom in New York on October 10. Yoshiki is already talking about the upcoming concerts in Europe, Japan and other Asian countries next year.
