20110211.01.Wedding.jpg

At 1pm on Friday, February 11, 2011 in Japan Standard Time, YokosoNews will broadcast a real Japanese wedding from Hogen Temple, Hiroshima, Japan.

Popular wedding style in Japan are Christian or Shinto (Shrine).

However, this happy and lucky couple, Mr. Tadahiro Miyamura (宮村忠弘) and Ms. Fumi Yamauchi (山内富美) happened to have the uncle who is the chief monk of Hogen-ji (法現寺) in Hiroshima, Japan.

Hogenji just renovated their building last November. It'll be the very first Buddhist style wedding to be held at the building.

Katz from YokosoNews happened to know the daughter of Hogenji's chief monk. She is going to live cast this event from Hiroshima. Katz will be joining the wedding from Yokkaichi, Mie, Japan to translate the wedding in English.

Buddhist style wedding is not popular in Japan. Even Japanese people don't have many chances to attend the Buddhist wedding.

Don't miss the rare opporunity to catch the wedding.

Most of all, please log onto the social timeline, and join us to congratulate the bride and groom!
